Les ChiensBlanc, Vin de France
About this product
These wines really are "The Dog's"....
A cracking red and white pair from the Roussillon, deep in southern France. A region much overlooked and brimming with promise and potential.
From some of the best vineyards in the Roussillon, this distincively French white wine is crafted from native varietals to the region, usually a blend of Colombard, Vermentino, Marsanne or Grenache Blanc. The soils are rich in clay and silt.
Slightly floral on the nose with a hint of minerality and pastry. Honeysuckle, peaches and herbs shine through supported by lovely texture, depth and weight. A salivating mouth, which is slightly saline and with juicy pear notes.
This stands up well to rich paté, creamy sauces and white meats.
