Heartland WinesLanghorne Creek First Release Malbec 2018
About this product
Again only a small quantity of this wine was produced, just 6 barrels in fact. The result is a wine with a deep ruby core and a vibrant purple rim.
The aromas are of violets and freshly crushed red currants and blueberries. Rich, dense and elegant, loaded with both red and purple fruits, this vintage offers a silky mouthful of red wine. Just like its two predecessors, the 2017 vintage has a long and gratifying finish.

Langhorne Creek has always been a good region for Malbec with some exceptional wines coming from here over the years. This one is a beauty, displaying all those fruit red fruits across a wide spectrum of aromas and flavours. The oak and fruit balance is outstanding, and the fine chalky tannins fit snuggly into the mix. Oh, yes, I could be drinking a bit of this.
