Using single malt and grain whiskies from Scotland as well as The Lakes signature creamy single malt. Lakes whiskymakerSarah Burgess has created a marvellous expression here, revolving around juicy fruit notes and waves of honey, with a smidge of oak and smoke shining through. No chill-filtration or additional colourings here and bottled at 46.6% ABV.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: A ripe selection of stone fruits with peaches and nectarines a standing out. Butterscotch and a touch of honey sweetness. Floral notes of freshly malted barley with a hint of soft grassy peat.
Palate: Ripe green apples, greenage plums, vanilla custard, almond biscuits, black cherries with soft notes of cinnamon and polished oak.
Finish: Medium length that delivers soft orchard fruit notes, honey and a very pleasant soft spice.
