Colheita (Col-yate-a) means “harvest”, referring to the exclusive use of grapes from a single crop to create a vintage port.Thissingular blend of The Lakes Single Malt and select grain and malt Scotch whiskies from the Highlands, Speyside and Islay is then finished in rare Colheita casks to create this rich and warming expression of The One.Non-chill filtered for a richer mouthfeel and fuller flavour, with only the natural colours derived from their oak casks in every bottle. Bottled at 46.6% ABV.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Freshly baked peach pastries, apricot crumble, awhiff of autumnal smoke and soft hints of fresh ginger.
Palate:Ripe plums, soft peaches, vanilla custard, and warming cinnamon and hint of clove.
Finish: Long, rich and comforting with cinnamon and aromatic spices, buttery stone fruitsand vanilla.
