Tasting Notes: This gin has a lovable sweetness full of candied strawberry notes and a delicate balance with the tartness of rhubarb. As the pink gin trend grew, we started brainstorming ways Dancing Sands could make something similar, but up to our quality standards. Most pink gins use an element of food colouring and artificial flavour, but Dancing Sands stands for making the best products from what nature gives us. With the aim to create a naturally pink gin, we turned to a classic Kiwi combination of strawberries and rhubarb — the perfect balance of sweet and sour. The key to success was that the gin needed integrity beyond sweetness and the challenge was to ensure the complexity of our Dry Gin would still shine underneath the summer infusion.
