It’s not a gin (no juniper is used) and it isn’t a flavoured vodka! What is it then?
Our Yuzu and Green Tea spirit is inspired by Xavier's love of all things Japanese and when his friends at Mountain Yuzu had a weather damaged harvest of yuzu, Xavier offered to buy it and see what he could create.
Fresh yuzu is hand peeled and distilled using our rotovap (see our stills) together with the highest quality sencha green tea and fresh jasmine flowers. The remaining fruit and other ingredients are distilled using our traditional pot still and the two spirits are then blended together.
Tasting notes: A bright, citrus forward spirit with herbaceous notes and a warming finish.
Features: Yuzu, sencha green tea, jasmine flowers, orris root, angelica root, ginger root, cassia bark and coriander seeds.
