HentyfarmRiesling Off Dry 2024
About this product
This is another great Riesling from the magnificent vineyards of Victoria. This wine was cared for and made by Ray Nadeson at Lethbridge in Geelong and this Riesling has the benefit of being fermented in a wooden Foudre (large format cask) it has a highly textural front palate of fruit and freshness and then follows a crisp balance of acidity. There is a natural fruit sweetness to this wine cleanly balanced by acidity to lift the back palate Colour: Very pale straw with glints of gold Bouquet: Stonefruit and lemon rind Palate: Apricot fruit notes with a delicious texture and lifted minerality on the finish Cellaring: With good cellaring conditions this wine will cellar and improve for up to 25 years

Medium bodied white wines have a lightly textured mouthfeel with moderate flavour impact. Often pale lemon coloured to pale gold.
Semi-dry wines are perceptibly sweet but leaning towards dry.

Bright green gold. Aromas of fresh guava, dried apple, lime peel and native frangipani lead onto the gently luscious palate. There's a hint of sweetness, nicely balanced by the wine's acidity. A terrific wine for terrines, soft cheeses and not too spicy Asian dishes.
