Spy ValleyMarlborough Pinot Noir
About this product
Spy Valley Singel Estate Marlborough Pinot Noir is made from grapes off the Johnson Vineyard - Top terraces Waihopai Valley – with clay/silt loam lenses overfree draining alluvium, and the Outpost Vineyard - Omaka Valley which has variable depths of windblown clay/loess over clay-bound glacial gravel. Following pressing, the fruit was gently hand plunged to release flavour and colour. The wine was aged in French oak barrels for 11months prior to final blending. The wine has delicate aromas of maraschino cherry and cloves with an overlay of spice. The palate is fresh and vibrant with hints of vanilla and spice and a long lingering finish.
