An Australo-Med blend of shiraz, garnacha and tempranillo, yet the ultimate effect is such that the violet and jube pastille fruit of the former dominate. The generosity of the grenache, all kirsch singing across the wine's midriff, is the jelly in the doughnut. The oak dries the finish, exacerbated by menthol eucalypt accents. This may be better served as a gently extracted Joven-type quaffer. Less oak. Shiraz as the back-burner.
