Where: This spicy, generous syrah is a wine to open any night at home or one you can share at a friend’s dinner party.  Open it up to drink with a prime cut of beef or with your favourite piece of blue cheese. This wine also has the class for you to drink at your favourite restaurant or to bring to the table for a special occasion.

Why: If you like a little more complexity in red wine than you may find in some Aussie shiraz styles, this is the wine for you. A lick of licorice, cardamon, pepper, dark fruits, fine-grain tannins and a hint of saltiness creates a wine with interesting depth.
