The Carn Mor Strictly Limited range of Scotch Whisky from the Family-owned Independent Bottlers, Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, are a collection of Scotch whiskies from some of the finest distilleries in Scotland. What makes the whiskies so special is that all the whiskies are non-chill-filtered to keep all of the oils and proteins that give it that fantastic authentic and non-doctored flavour in the bottle. As real as it gets.
This 18 year old scotch whisky was distilled in 2013 at the Speyside Benriach distillery before maturing in a select ex-sherry barrels for 8 years. Prior to bottling the whisky was proofed back to 47.5%ABV, with no chill-filtration or colour added. 1085 bottles were produced.
Expect lifted Christmas pudding aromas from the glass, with burnt butter and toffee. Warming oak spices fill the palate and a gentle oiliness helps ensure a long and fruity finish.
