The Carn Mor Celebration of the Cask range of Single Cask Whisky from the family-owned independent bottlers, Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, are a very limited range from distilleries all over Scotland. All the bottles are numbered and once they are gone they cannot be replaced as they are from one-off bottlings from a single cask. The Carn Mor Celebration of the Cask Scotch Whiskies are bottled at cask strength and are all non-chill filtered.
This 27 year old single cask scotch whisky was distilled at the Glen Grant Distillery in Speyside in 1994 before spending 27 years in a single ex-Bourbon barrel. The cask (#61724) produced 145 (cask dipping expected 148, but 145 only on bottled) bottles of malt at a natural cask strength of 51.0% ABV.
Expect Orchard fruits (white flesh peaches) with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and orange peel.
