This is the fourth release of this wine drawing fruit from our Blewitt Springs vineyard sitting on sandy soil offering excellent drainage and resistance to disease and parcels bought in from Dog Ridge’s wonderful Grenache vineyard in McLaren Flat. The vines are 65 and 25 years old respectively producing fruit of uncommon intensity and flavour. This wine is flavoursome showing chocolate, spice and a sweet earthy palate finishing with powdery tannins and length. Enjoy now or cellar up to 10 years.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Gorgeously ripe and perfumed showing black/blueberry, violet, olive and vanillin oak characters, it's wonderfully complemented by succulent palate offering terrific fruit intensity backed by silky texture and polished tannins, finishing long and seductively soothing.
