An emboldened yet elegant style from the Hills, not shy of flavour with all manner of ripe black and blue fruits. Violets, cardamom pod and dark chocolate provide lively and earthen aromas. There is a sleek blueberry coulis texture on the palate ahead of fine, sandpaper-like tannins making a debut, fraying up the edges nicely.

Youthful and inky in the glass. Lifted and heady aromas of boysenberry, sweet pastry, Asian spice, dried herbs and nutty oak. Powerful and concentrated in flavour, driven by lashings of blue fruits, spice and oak. The tannins are firm and shapely and the acidity brings plenty of zip and zap to the table.
