Harvested from Rosenvale's Vine Vale Sands Vineyard (Shiraz Planted 1960) in the Vine Vale subregion of the Barossa Valley.
Fermentation takes place in open-top tanks with an average of 9 days on skins. Warmer ferment to enhance palate weight, twice daily pump-overs, full malolactic fermentation and 18 months maturation in predominantly seasoned French Hogsheads, 14% new American oak for complexity.
