About this product

 Colour
Bright purple lively and alive; a youthful blush.
Aroma
Aromatics of white chocolate - just made from non deodorized cocoa butter. White pepper, nutmeg and bay leaf; then slides in gently the bouquet of cinnamon and mace. All of which is enveloped by primary fruit aromas of blueberry, raspberry and plum.
Palate
A silky texture from front to mid palate, at which point the keen acidity takes over. This red now becomes a very structured and well-delineated wine that moves in gradual, seamless stages. There’s diving bell like depth of fruit from the mid to back palate where grainy tannins debate politely with clear acidity.
Overall
A red wine that is so alive both aromatically and texturally is a wine that attracts every wine-drinker. There is tannin and acidity to suit fuller and more robust dishes, such as your most authentically realised fabada; yet there is also enough plushness of fruit flavours and textures to foil a chick pea korma.
