Fruit was handpicked to enhance best quality and this particular season was outstanding.
After natural fermentation of 2 weeks the wine was pressed off skins and then rack to (25% new) French and American barriques for the next 15 months.
The wine displays a lovely deep purple crimson colour, ripe blueberries and spices, a touch of black pepper and is rounded out by generous palate flavours.
Cellaring and decanting will further enhance this wine.

Aromas of plum, redcurrant and blackberry sashay effortlessly along a skein of peppery acidity. Finely tuned, fresh and graceful. Thankfully.
