About this product

The Barossa we love today was heavily influenced by the Barossa Deutsche. Their legacy can still be clearly seen in the patchwork of vineyards across the Valley floor today.
Using only fruit from a friend’s old vines, the 2017 Vintage was matured for 2years in a blend of French and American oak. Black Cherries are apparent on the nose, backed-up on the palate by cassis and spice-laden chocolate. The Barossa Deutsche Cabernet is full-bodied, but elegant and smooth by design.
Colour: Very deep garnet red
Aroma: Black cherries
Taste: Cassis, spice-laden chocolate and fine grainy tannins
