Yamazaki 2014 Limited Edition Single Malt Whisky 700mL

Yamazaki Limited Edition 2014, is a special single malt from Suntory’s Yamazaki distillery. It is the first release in a limited-edition series for the duty free market. The expression consists of a 20-year-old European oak Sherry matured, a 20-year-old European oak Port cask matured, and a young American white oak bourbon matured. This 2014 edition is fresh and fruity on the nose with aromas of oak wood, toffee, lemon, cocoa, sweet vanilla, passion fruit, liquorice and fresh almonds. The palate is oily and round, revealing harmonious flavours of citrus fruits, liquorice, menthol, raisins, cocoa, ginger, pepper and clove. The finish is smooth and warm with sweet honey, lemon, tobacco, liquorice, cloves and drying oak.
