Chugoku Jozo produces this blended Japanese whisky named Togouchi. This distillery is a little different in their approach to making whisky, instead of maturing their spirit in a warehouse they do so in a tunnel. The name comes from where the tunnel is located, in the town of Togouchi, which merged with two other towns to create a larger town called Akiota.
Togouchi 8 Years is alimited-release whiskythat has been aged and stored for a minimum of 8 years in sherry oak casks and is a blend of Scottish malts with Canadian grain.
