Grown in the Coal River Valley. A long cool ferment was followed by 2 months on fine lees prior to fining, filtering and bottling. Shows the perfumed, lifted floral characters that typify Tasmanian riesling with underlying citrus zestiness on the bouquet and palate. Residual sugar adds weight and richness, and linear, sherbet-like acidity provides the focus and balance.

Bright, light yellow hue with a fresh, vibrant aroma of stone fruits, while the palate is just slightly off-dry, with good length and has a touch of phenolics, which add a slight and agreeable grip. This needs food. A delicious young Riesling, starting to drink superbly.
