Deep red colour with a tint of purple, and a slight glimpse of mint in the shy dark cherry aroma. The wine is medium-bodied and ripely fruit-sweet, with a touch of blackberry pastille. A voluminous, mouth-filling presence, and abundant tannin structure. A very rewarding glass of pinot, and should age well.

Everything to be admired about Tassie pinot. Depth of flavour and aroma - black cherry, redcurrants, whole bunch fragrance, brown spices form maturation in French oak. All that coupled with a firm but fine tannin structure and just-so acidity.
