Picked in the coolness of the early morning this wine displays a dense purple red colour in appearance with vanilla and red berry fruit aromas. Ripe plum and raspberry flavours with sweet oaky notes are evident on the palate. Matured in a combination of old and new American barrels for 12 months this robust wine is well-balanced with smooth tannins and can be enjoyed now or rewarded with cellaring for 6 to 8 years
