PertaringaRifle & Hunt Cabernet Sauvignon Vertical Pack
About this product
Rifle and Hunt sounds like the beginning of a tale from an early hunting expedition, but the story is really not that complicated. It’s more like directions rather than a name, with the Pertaringa property being on the corner of Rifle Range and Hunt Roads in McLaren Vale! This vertical pack includes a mix of the 2015, 2016 and 2018 vintages.
2015
Aromas of raspberries, blackcurrants, menthol and herbs are followed by a rich and velvety palate with dark red fruits, cassis and a fine tannin backbone.
2016
A medium to full-bodied cabernet sauvignon with an initial plushness of black fruits that slowly gives way to a more brambly, drying and textural midpalate. There is an attractive leafiness to defined blackberry to finish with finely filamented tannins accentuating the length.
2018
The nose is beautifully complex and vibrant with notes of blackcurrants, mulberries and spice. The palate is generous with plenty of berry fruit and twists of spice, complemented by fine tannins on the back palate.
