About this product
2015
The nose offers complex aromas of apricots, plums, pretty floral notes and hints of cloves. The palate is dense and concentrated with wild strawberries and plums, complemented by velvety tannin.
2017
Chocolate, plum, and blackberry are lifted by aromatic baking spices on the nose. The palate has a silkiness to it but is underpinned by fine, supple tannins that give the perfect bounds for blackberry and plum fruit to express themselves.
2018
Bouquets of raspberries and cherries with a dash of pepper and other spices. Big, rich and seductive with the berry fruit, complemented by a hint of minerality and great structure on the lingering finish.

Vintage 2015
95 points
2015 Vintage - Thankfully this isn't over the top, rich, ripe and commanding, certainly. Deep, dark crimson colour as with the fruit of plums and berries, but there's an overlying savouriness to this, a whisper of black pepper, cinnamon quills, crushed juniper and dark chocolate. The oak is well integrated with powerful and composed tannins and everything in balance.

Vintage 2016
95 points
Vintage 2016 - Part hand, part machine-harvested, destemmed whole berries, small batch ferments kept separate until blending, 7-10 days on skins, matured in French oak (30% new) for 20 months. While opulent and welcoming, doesn't go OTT, the fruit and oak well balanced, tannins just where they should be.
