The 2016 vintage in the Yarra was completed in quick-time. Very hot weather early in the season and excellent flowering resulted in decent crop levels for most varieties. High temperatures prevailed during the ripening period resulting in fruit and wines that were rich and generous. Harvesting in the cool of the night helped ensure fresh fruit characters were retained.

This versatile wine is suited to a broad range of dishes, including those based around poultry, veal, mushrooms, or pork. It is particularly good paired with Vitello Tonnato or fried quail with spicy salt
