Vibrant raspberry-garnett hues in the glass introduce an alluring nose of blackberry, dark cherry and rose petal aromas. Silvan berry, black currant and blood plum fruit characters in the mouth, with star anise top notes, the succulent acidity of the wine is counterbalanced by the soft tannins which envelope it.

The addition of a small amount of viognier is obvious from the beautiful, translucent purple hue and vibrant, aromatic aromas. The white grape contributes so much energy and lift. A classy shiraz all round. Spice-laced blackberry, black cherry, violet fineness on the palate. The role of French oak (25% new) cannot be underestimated in presenting a wine of such poise.
