In 2015 we had an outstanding Shiraz Cabernet blend, with five barrels from our Block 5 Shiraz and three barrels for the Block 1 Cabernet blended to make this outstanding wine.
Like Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, this Shiraz Cabernet has two sides to its personality. The gentle aromas of blackberry, baked plumb and cedar linger in the glass. This hides the full body wine that bursts out with layers of black fruits, stewed plum, and cedar leading to a velvet finish of butterscotch and charred oak.
