The Real Review – Huon Hooke – April 2019: The colour is deep and youthful, the bouquet has some unusual talcy aromas, fresh and with herbal and floral scents. The wine is somewhat lean in profile, sinewy and tight, just lacking richness and generosity, although its line and length are good. There is elegance here. It needs another year or two. 2021 – 2037. 90/100.

By far the most elegant wine in the stable, this is a taut mainline of pepper grind acidity towing scents of iodine, blueberry and mace long and far down the throat. The oak is impeccably nestled into the fold. An impressive wine. Again, indelibly marked with the potpourri of spice and eucalyptus of the Grampians. Detailed, vinous and fine.
