Terra FelixMornington Peninsula Pinot Gris 2016
About this product
Only 4 tons were used to make this wine which has an aroma of intense aromatics of pear, honeysuckle and a subtle herbal note.
Flavours of stone fruit and fresh citrus nuances match the aromas beautifully, with a hint of spiced honey lingering through to a clean, mineral finish.
The grapes were hand-picked in the cool of the morning, then whole bunch pressed to extract the juice. The juice was cold settled and then racked to French oak barrels for fermentation and extended maturation. Once the fruit flavours and aromas, the oak influence, and the structure of the wine were in perfect balance, the wine was blended, fined, filtered and bottled. Ready for drinking now.
