Dry, Medium Bodied style of Mourvedre with a touch of Durif.A Museum release of just 65 cases of 6 bottles each. This is the most awarded wine we have made. Coming from 5 acres of Mourvedre on a vinyard North of Bendigo. Now 11 years old it is ready to be drunk. The wine exhibits strong colour with blackberry aromas preceding savoury characteristics on a rich mouth filling palate. Quality French oak, a touch of Durif, integrate to produce spicy notes and a strong tannin finish. Very tpyical varietal characteristics. A lovely wine.

Medium bodied red wines have a lightly textured mouthfeel with moderate flavour impact. Often medium in colour.
