Not bad. Not great. Regional, I suppose, in terms of the richness of blueberry fruits sluiced with anise, violet, iodine and baking spice; in terms of a clench of reductive winemaking that endeavours to rein the exuberant sweetness of fruit in. And yet, in all, a full-bodied wine that is a bit gloopy and sweet for its own good. There is little real freshness. The drinkability quotient, average.
