All up, 40 months in French oak and the wine is sitting comfortably, all components neatly brought together into a harmonious whole. This is elegant. Perfectly ripe fruit, wafts of cassis, mint and dark chocolate all lead on to a full-bodied, yet so smooth, palate with finely detailed tannins.

Impeccably composed and gloriously expressed, the bouquet exhibits cassis, mixed berry compote, cedar, cocoa and cigar aromas, leading to a concentrated palate that is powerful and stylish at the same time. The wine offers waves of delicious fruit flavours as well as seductive oak and spicy nuances, leading to a impressively long, plush finish. An outstanding cabernet. At its best: now to 2028.
