This is a perfect blend of red and white grape varieties developed in the Cotes du Rhone district in Southern France. It is made possible due to both varieties maturing at the same time. They are crushed and fermented together to merge the flavours of these two noble varieties. Usually 3-5% Viognier is ample to introduce the floral aromas and contribute to the wines softness in the mouth. This wine has retained the Shiraz characters of cherry and raspberry with Viognier adding the floral aromas and slipperiness in the mouth.
