Dry, Full Bodied style of ShirazDeep crimson red in colour. Aromas of lifted dark cherries and blue fruits with undertones of stewed fruits, mulberry and satsuma plum balance a top elegant French oak. Medium to full palate weight, powerful flavours of spice, pepper and sumac. Structural powdery tannins provide a dry finish to compliment the dark fruits.

This is immediately appealing on the nose showing blackberry, mixed spice, olive and cedar aromas, leading to a concentrated palate delivering terrific fruit intensity with velvety texture and fine grainy tannins. Wonderfully composed and structured with a persistent satisfying finish.

Solid rounds of plum essence and orange oil flavour come dressed in classy cedar and vanilla oak. The extra sauce here is attractive woodsmoke-like characters, likely from that same oak. It's fruity and flowing but has some extra grunt. It's not subtle but it works.
