Pinot from Mount Gambier that kind of puts me in mind of Nebbiolo. Cherries, a little liquorice, spice, some mint, dried herb and earth. Medium-bodied, strawberry and cherry, some grip to the tannin, good flavour and some bottle age development coming through, acidity is balanced, and the finish has dusty grip and length. Like this. Yes.

Very good colour; has excellent varietal expression engendered by a cool vintage in a very cool region. Red and dark cherry fruit has a silky web of spicy/savoury complexity. A really attractive pinot at a giveaway price.
