Machine picked and raised in a meld of used French and American oak following a brief maceration, as is the wont here. Forward, cushy and easy to like. Kirsch, sweet cherry and a curb of gentle oak tannins, all synch across an effortless cadence. A bit sweet, perhaps. But quintessentially South Australian and packing the sort of flavour and texture that equate to good value.
