Armstead EstateMaggie May Rosé 2020
About this product
Our 2020 Maggie May Rosé exhibits fruity flavours of subtle sweet strawberries and crisp watermelon. Made from Grenache, it's delicate and light with a zesty dry finish.
Picked on the last day of February 2020, the berries were lightly pressed to capture the delicate, floral aromas. The ferment lasted just over 3 weeks and the wine was crystal clear when the ferment finished.
Post-ferment, the wine was transferred into seasoned oak barriques for a short time with weekly lees stiring, to develop some secondary character. Bottled in early May 2020, this vibrant rosé is soft peach in colour and pairs beautifully with seafood and white meats.
