Fermented in oak and matured on lees. A medium-weight chardonnay with gentle oak influence, bright acidity and good length of flavour. The perfume offers lime-soaked stone fruit dashed with a subtle halva and marzipan savoury-sweetness. The palate is gently chewy and zippy, with lime-juice freshness and layers of peachy fruit character sprinkled with cinnamon. Finishes with a soft, oatmeal-like savouriness. An element of flinty, wet-slate minerality finds its way into the wine, too. Lots of detail in this chardonnay.
