There's tension and drive to this with its linear focus. An appealing pink grapefruit flavour, white stone fruit gets things rolling picking up ginger spice and the right amount of creamy-lees along the way. It has texture, finishing with fresh lemony acidity and overall, moreish and delicious.

The bouquet opens rather fusty and subdued, and with exposure to air reveals smoke, honey and nougat complexities. It's medium-bodied, with lemon and honey flavours and a dry finish. Balanced acidity. Aeration benefitted it. A bit of a chameleon, but ultimately a winner.
