TarraWarra EstateYarra Valley J Block Shiraz 2016
About this product
A cool climate Shiraz made in a style reminiscent of the Northern Rhone. A co-ferment of the Shiraz with two percent Viognier gives a lifted brambly perfume to the dark berried fruit aromas. The fleshy palate has rich fruit and structure with lovely definition. This wine will age well for at least 10 years.

Gorgeous ruby-purple hue, perhaps bolstered by it being co-fermented with 2% viognier. While it has plenty of tangy, juicy spicy plum fruit and juniper berry flavours, it’s savoury with appealing smoky, toasty oak and salami notes. What sets it apart are the lovely, supple yet fine, tannins.
