High altitude wine (1700 masl) from Cafayate Valley, Salta, Argentina.
Best served at18°C.
Enjoy with lamb, red meats or game.
Tasting notes: Bright and clear, with an intense color and violet reflections. Intense, with a marked fruity (plums, cherries) and a little spice. The palate repeats the fruity character, with good varietal typicality, firm ripe tannins, good acidity, and long finish.
The grapes are picked byhandin the morning, atlowtemperatures,inboxesof 20kg.each. Then there is a bunch selectiontable. 5 days maceration in stainless steel tanks with temperature control. Fermentation at controlled temperatures (25º) stainless steel tanks. Natural yeasts.
Only 8km from Cafayate, Yacochuya is located 2,035 metres above sea level (masl) with limited rainfall (less than 300 mm year), which makes its terroir something unique and matchless.
