Paulmara EstatesSyna Shiraz Limited Release 2014
About this product
The fruit from our 2014 Syna Shiraz is estate grown. We only make this limited release shiraz in the years in which we feel the quality is superior. It has ascending super-ripe aromas of lifted dark fruit and soaked plums. Beneath, roasted meats, complemented with a dusting of earthy, expressive characters.
Full bodied and youthful. The palate is masses of dark fruit, chocolate and graphite with enough grand tannins and acidity conspiring to maintain dimension and balance. Rich and dominant with substantial backbone to the finish.
Approachable now, but 5-10 years cellared in a dark place will reward those who can refrain from drinking it now.
This is lovely rich, ripe Barossa shiraz with good structure.
