Each varietal has an important role to play in the blend. The Sangiovese provides chalky tannins and fresh acid line. The Shiraz provides ripe fruit density and richness. With the Malbec providing floral notes and red and blue fruits. At the conclusion of maturation rigorous barrel selection and blending trials across the three varietals is carried out to maximise the expression of each grape variety to produce an easy drinking, food friendly style of wine. The wine is neither fined nor filtered.
