The Mêleé is a blend of estate grown Sangiovese and Shiraz, complimented with a splash of Langhorne Creek Malbec.
Scents of crushed rose petals, black cherry, blueberry and subtle cinnamon spice.
Sweet red fruits of plum, wild strawberry and blueberry come to the fore. Fine powdery fruit tannins delicately wrap around the fruit core.
Each varietal has an important role to play in the blend. The Sangiovese provides velvety tannins and fresh acid line. The Shiraz provides ripe fruit density and richness, with the Malbec providing floral notes and red and blue fruits.
