Under WrapsBarossa Valley Shiraz 2017
About this product
From a single vineyard in Stone Well, in the famed Barossa Valley. Picked in the cool of the morning before sunrise, open fermented using wild yeast and basket pressed into French oak only (55% new). It remainded in oak for 22 months then was bottled fined and unfiltered.
Ferrous, dark berry fruits and aniseed on the aroma. Backed up on the palate of more of the same aided by the French oak structure and fine tannins.

magnificently styled, offering power and grace in one. The bouquet shows blackberry, Black Doris plum, cocoa, cedar It’s and anise characters, leading to a concentrated palate that’s richly expressed and persistent. It’s opulent and delicious with layers of silky texture and velvety tannins. At its best: 2022 to 2037.
