Vintage 2014
91 points The Wine Front
It’s from a vineyard in the Marananga sub-region of the Barossa Valley. It was matured in both French and American oak. The simple message is: if you like Barossa Shiraz, you will like this. It ticks all the boxes. It tastes of blackberry, boysenberry, coal and toasty/malty oak, a gentle drift of orange-like acidity creeping through the finish. It’s medium- to full-bodied, is sweet with ripe fruit, feels fresh, and feels generous.
