Lots going on here. Red Fruits, game meat, pepper, ferrous things, some liquorice too. The scents lead the way. The palate is similar but perhaps meatier, darker fruited and more clove and woody spices with some flinty mineral characteristics and tobacco notes in the mix. Chewy texture, lush, some twiggy tannin profile lending pucker and a trail of woody spices with each sip. Bold and warm red but done well.
