No. 209Kosher for Passover Gin 750mL
About this product
Our No. 209 Kosher-for-Passover Gin has a citrus backbone with an herbal undertone due to the addition of California bay leaf from Mt. Veeder in Napa Valley. First across the palate are the high citrus notes and a sweetness that is attributed to the sugar cane base spirit. Mid-palate, more savory flavors evolve with bay leaf and juniper at the forefront. As the gin passes the palate, spice notes of cassia and pepper become prominent.
SUPERVISED BY THE ORTHODOX UNION
There are many spirits that are kosher, but very few that are Kosher-for-Passover. After creating No. 209 Gin in 2005, founder Leslie Rudd had a desired to craft a new, modern spirit that observant Jews could enjoy during Passover. Thus No. 209 Kosher-for-Passover Gin was born. The Orthodox Union supervises the entire production of this spirit to make sure our recipe, distillation practices and bottling procedures adhere strictly to kosher dietary law. Distillery No. 209 is the only distillery in the world to make both a certified Passover gin and vodka.
