Jim's Script is a Bordeaux style blend and a fine example of the synergy that can be achieved with skilful blending of various fruit parcels. The complementary effects of the fruit flavours and tannins of the four varieties, deliver a wine of style and length that is structured, elegant and full in flavour.

Cabernet Sauvignon contributes elegance, finesse and a structured tannin frame. Select vineyard parcels ensure vibrant aroma, flavour profile and elegant tannins. Components are barrel fermented in 2 and 3-year-old American and French oak. Merlot fills the front and mid palate with rich, red fruit. After a 2 year maturation in old French oak barrels, the tannins work to soften the wine. Fermented in older French oak barrels, Cabernet Franc contributes perfume and leafy aromatics, while drawing a linear tannin down the centre line to give the wine focus and length. Petit Verdot contributes freshness along with a sprinkling of spice and perfume to provide aromatic lift and palate weight. Like the rest of the blend it is fermented in older French oak barrels.
